Our student voice group is made up of students nominating themselves and being voted in by their own tutor group to raise any issues or concerns they would like addressed by the senior leadership team. We meet every three to four weeks and discuss different areas of concern raised by studnets. Theses have ranged in the past from notice boards being updated to more cycle storage and to more recently, a change to our school uniform. Students will address issues and find solutions as to how we can make it all possible.
Here are some of the ideas that have been brought to life from these meetings:
- A brand new cycle shelter
- an extension to the origianl new cycle shelter
- Christmas Craft Fayres
- Coffee and Cake morning for Grandparents
- An Auction
- NoadsFest
- Cheaper and more addordable school uniform
More ideas that will be looked into this year are:
- More seating outside around school grounds
- Bins put together so that there is a food waste, recycling and general waste bin all at the same point
Students from years 7-10 come together and work alongside the senior prefects to help make the school community one where we know we are all listened to and that ideas really do come to life.
